Me and dave are one today. He got me a lovely pretty hot diamonds bracellet, and dinner - i got him jungle book limited edition dvd…. not quiet the same thing but he does a dance like ballllllo so it kind nice present. :o)
Take an oversized washbasin, a manhattan style w/c and soft close seat… and luna taps to match the bath and sink and what do you get? My new bathroom suite….
I by chance went into the bathstore in Middlesbrough on the way back to the car to be pleasently suprised by the choice and value for money. I eneded up going for a lovely modern suite and taps selection. I was that impressed with the toilet seats, i decided to get the ’soft close’ one to match the set.
I opted to get my taps there too… as the ones I wanted were in a promo £109 to £54 each. So the luna range are now on their way to me on the 11th of December! It was a great deal, from £685 in total for the whole lot, including taps and wastes down to £375, including delivery. As the basin and w/c were in a joint promo together, and even though I wanted the larger basing (the supersize one), she made it so i just paid the difference in price so I managed to still get the promo. Then the taps were half price today only!!
On a different note, there was a bomb scare in boro today outside BHS. All the shops in the town center and and shopping centers were closed… we were limited to Zavii, Wilkinsons and Game - and got bored very quickly!
OOOooo also, to seal the deal with the bathroom set - I asked to get a bathstore whale! And the man was kind enough to give me and dave one each! It is going to have pride of place in my soon to be newly enamled cast iron bath :o). I noticed as we were leaving that the baths and sinks all come with a wee bathstore emblem on the side to show ‘their seal of approval’. I also found the sales woman really helpful, and easy to speak to… for once I wasn’t bombarded with 101 people asking ‘do you need any help’.

4. I finally decided on the scheme for my new bathroom design!! Hurah! And worked out a time plan for it all.
5. I picked a new oven for the kitchen.
6. eBay can produce some of the funniest arguments between families; Dave’s folks bought tickets via eBay for next weeks Take That concert - however due to the nature of paypal they can’t get tickets asap as the monies take time to clear and so forth…. i will leave the rest of the issue in your imagination!
On a different note JW came to my street last week. I was going to start an interesting debate about the young mother who died as she didn’t want a blood transfusion. I understand the moral grounds and beliefs she has, but still I can’t agree with that element of their religion. I will easily debate and socialise with any religion, doens’t bother me any bit. However, stop being an idiot - what religion are you? I am personally Atheist. Christianity is too much hard work.
